Hello everyone~

I'm sure a lot of us enjoy having long hair. Then again, with the humid weather and our hectic schedules, we tend to neglect the health of our scalps. No, I'm not talking about having soft luscious hair ladies, I'm talking about having a healthy scalp in order to prevent any premature hair loss.

I knew nothing about having a healthy scalp, so I was pretty surprised when I found out that my oily scalp had clogged follicles when I visited Jonsson Protein! Sounds pretty damn gross, I know, I was pretty grossed out myself!

I had a little consultation about my lifestyle and how the state of my hair was.

Then something more indepth! From the consultation, I found that I had an oily scalp, no surprise there since my face is super oily too. I also found out that it doesn't really matter how many times or how hard you wash your hair, the wrong shampoo can cause your hair follicles to clog!

I've been using purple shampoo and some random shampoo, and now I've changed over to something that is gentle on the scalp, but cleans it too!

Of course, regular treatment at Jonsson protein and rectify the problem.

So they started off with a shampoo (which smells really good)

And then you sit through a steam thingamajig with the treatment!

I know you can't tell but, my hair follicles were a lot less clogged after!

Happy Scalp = Happy Hair Growth = Happy Girl

Unfortunately, I don't have any promo codes for you guys, but after my experience, I realised it is important to make sure that your scalp is healthy and that your lifestyle can really affect your scalp (and a whole lot of other things). For example, stress levels and sleeping habits can affect the oil production in your skin and scalp, as well as your mood and even your digestive system.

For someone with such an unpredictable schedule, I don't think I'll be able to implement drastic changes to my lifestyle anytime soon, but I'm definitely working towards getting better sleep and also having more sleep. I think the only good thing I do is drinking a lot of water on a regular basis, but I do know a lot of people who neglect their 8 glasses of water, so perhaps it's time to start there!

I hope you guys enjoy this blogpost, and I'll see you next week!
