Collective Sephora Haul

Hello Everyone!

I absolutely love makeup and anytime Sephora has a sale, I would definitely pick a few things up on my wishlist, and also repurchase products that I love and are running low on. I did pick a few new things this time and I'm pretty excited to try them all! I've dabbled in most of them but there are one or two products that I've yet to test!

I got these items over two shopping sessions, one was online and one was when I popped by a physical store. Apparently, some things that are sold out online were available in store and vise versa, so I'd say, this is more of a collective haul.

Genius Gel Foundation in Beige Medium 34 by Marc Jacobs

I've been wanting to try this for the longest time, but honestly, it's the price that has been putting me off it for a good amount of time. I've been swatching various shades every time I walked into Sephora but I never added it into my basket or I've abandoned it at the check out.

I've been using a mixture or Urban Decay's One and Done and All Nighter foundations and I've made do with it but I think the All Nighter just doesn't suit me at all. It oxidizes (hence having to mix it with the One and Done - which I LOVE) and it makes me look so orange which is the most annoying thing ever. It also blows my pores up and my skin just doesn't look great.

I've not touched the All Nighter since I started using the Genius Gel. The coverage isn't full for sure, but I never really wanted a full coverage foundation unless I've a shoot or event. This is perfect for everyday which I really appreciate! I'm just hoping this lasts me a long time since it is quite pricey!

Match Stix in Trippin (Shimmer), Starstruck (Shimmer) and Amber (Matte) by Fenty Beauty

I know everyone has been going mad about the Fenty Beauty range since it was released, and these have sold out (or at least in the colours I was after) very quickly. I did get another shade (Unicorn) of the matchstix prior to the sale and it was very pretty, though it does tend to lift the foundation if you apply it directly - I'm speaking for the shimmer shades though. I would recommend using your finger or sponge to dab it on and then building it up if you want to.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette by Urban Decay

I personally was apprehensive about getting this palette at first. I never look good with reds, it makes my skin look a lot more yellow than it actually is. I figured it was time to face my makeup fears and just go for it, also, it was on sale and I needed a palette like this.

I haven't tried this yet, but I am definitely going to try it soon! I may do a video on it, though I assume I'd be the last person to do a look with this on camera, but we'll see! Looking at the palette, I know I'd be steering clear from at least two colours already which I hope I won't actually do.

129 Luxe Fan Brush by Zoeva

I got this to purely experiment. I don't own a fan brush so of course, I wanted to get one to see how I could play around with it, especially with highlight and probably for brushing the excess 'baking' setting powder.

First impression: It's soft and pretty, but honestly that's about it. I do love my Zoeva Brushes and I've been using them for years, I probably wouldn't hop on over to another brand any time soon.

Botanical Treatment by Botanist

I used this the day I received this and it has made my hair a lot softer than it already is. I use hair treatments in place of hair conditioners, and at first, I did think this was an expensive conditioner, but apparently, it was a decently priced treatment. I bought this thinking I was going to have sweet smelling conditioner, but turns out I got hair treatment, which I'm not complaining about because it smells pretty and my hair feels great now!

Rose Hair Sleeping Mask by Sephora

I got this on a whim, I've been trying to get my hair to be a lot softer so I picked this up near the check out. I'm not the biggest fan of the rose scent, just because my nose doesn't 100% agree with the scent sometimes, so my main concern was the scent making my nose act up since I've to sit with this in my hair for one whole night.

I did use this last night (you may have seen it on my instastories) and it didn't smell too horrible, in fact, it smelt quite nice and my nose was alright. I'm not entirely sure if your hair should feel soaked in the mask because I've got really long hair, and it covered just half of my hair - thankfully I started at the tips (you're supposed to concentrate the mask at the tips so all is good I suppose). Also, it's not good to have your hair wet when you sleep so perhaps it's not meant to be dripping either? I was pretty confused if I was doing it right, I wasn't sure if I needed to use two of these in future or if this weird sticky/damp feeling was how it was meant to be, etc etc.

The only definite issue I had so far was the hair cap, it was pretty big for my head and it did slide around when I slept so it was quite annoying and I just didn't really like sleeping with something on my head, though it keeps my hair out of the way. In conclusion, my hair does feel softer, but I did have to wash my hair out the next morning (they said you may or may not have to). Personally, it wasn't the most comfortable thing to wear to sleep.

De-Slick Oil Control Setting Spray by Urban Decay

The next few products (this included) are going to be repurchases of products that I love, and of course, I have oily skin, so this is perfect for me. I've been using this for years as well and it has made my make up stay on and my skin doesn't get oily as it does with other sprays.

I did consider getting the Chill Cooling setting spray but I was worried my oily-skin problems would come back so I decided against it. I might consider getting a travel sized one in future just to test it out!

Radiance Brush Head by Clarisonic

I've tried a lot of the other clarisonic brush heads and so far this is the one that gives me the best results. These are pretty soft like the sensitive brush head and they aren't too forceful like the deep pore cleansing brush head. I change my brush head every 3-4 months which isn't the cheapest thing, but I realised that it does give optimal results with your skin.

Roller Lash Mascara by Benefit

I've raved about this mascara so many times, and this is probably the 3rd or 4th time that I've repurchased this. I've had friends who love this and I've had friends who hated this, but I personally love this. I love the brush and that it's so easy to get into my lower lashes.

I've lash extensions, so my top lashes don't need anything, and this mascara has made my lower lashes very pretty. When I didn't have extensions, this also made my top lashes curl nicely and I haven't had a mascara that made them look that way. I'm not exaggerating guys, I really love this mascara!

Beauty Blender

I change up my beauty blender every few months (I wash it after every use lol don't worry), and I've been using the black ones the past few times and I thought of changing it up a little and get myself the pretty pink one! I never liked the hot pink one so it never crossed my mind to get a new colour until I saw this one. I know I'm slow,  but the beauty blender is usually one of the last few things on my mind until it needs replacing.

That's the very last of my haul, I do hope you guys enjoyed it! I thought I bought a lot more things but I guess I didn't! Have a good week, I'll see you guys in my next blogpost!
