Hair Transformation with Liese

Hey everyone!

I hope you guys have had a good CNY! I know the celebrations are still going on for some of us, but I guess it's safe to say that most of us are getting back into our usual regime. Today's blogpost is gonna be about my hair transformation. Well, more of just a change in colour. I've been having ash-brown hair for quite a while now and occassionally, the blond sections of my hair changed depending on the shampoo or toner that I used.

Recently, Liese has invited me to their pop up and introduced their hair colour supplement. I've used the one for Ash toned hair before the transformation and I must say that it really does make a difference. The only problem I have with the product is that I only got to use it about 4 times before the tube finished and that adds time into my shower routine. Good news is, you only need to use it once or twice a week.

If you've been reading my blog for a while you may know that red/maroon tones don't tend to sit too well with my skin and I steer away from them. However, when Liese gave me their limited edition hair colours during the event, I knew I had to be brave and give it a go. I recieved all three shades but I really wanted to try the Violet Red. It's their limited bubble hair colour which it was a product range I was familiar with. The other two were brown shades from a different range.

RESULTS!

I actually really love the colour. It looks a lot more red in pictures than it does in real life, but I really quite like it. As always, the process was super easy with the bubble hair colour, sometimes I wished they had once for bleaching your hair at home (I use gatsby for that) but I think that would be very very scary. Imagine bubbling bleach and just think about how painful that would be on the scalp!

Before~

Not gonna lie, I do miss my ash blonde hair. I did contemplate on getting my entire head bleached and toned to ash blonde, but I never had the guts for it. I know a vibrant violet red isn't any more 'conservative', but I guess red is a lot easier to maintain and reverse as compared to ash blonde.

Thanks for the bubble colour, Liese!

I whip my hair back and fourth~

I know I said I'd go onto loops live and have a Q&A while I was colouring my hair, but I ended up watching my friend on there instead. I definitely chickened out of it, I actually just downloaded it to watch my friends when they go live, HAHA. If you happen to find me on loops, don't be alarmed when I have 0 everything, I don't even think I've hit level 1!!

MAINTENANCE!

These are the hair colour supplements that I was talking about~

From left to right: #CuteSummer for pink/red tones, #SweetFloral for ash tones and #FunShine for brown tones. I used up the one for ash tones as mentioned earlier and it's all gone!

Now, I use the one for pink and red tones and it really does keep the hair colours looking great! However, the blonde sections of my hair do not absorb colour that well, so that faded very fast, but with the help of the supplement, it turns to this very pretty hot pink which I do not mind! A massive thank you to Liese for the products and making hair maintenance at home so simple! I'll be ending the blogpoost here so I'll see you in my next one!

xx
