#GetReadyWithMe: 'Long Long Time Ago' Gala Premiere

 Hello Everyone!

In case you guys aren't aware, the new Jack Neo film Long Long Time Ago movie is now out in cinemas! I was invited to the gala premiere on Tuesday and of course, I had to bring my man with me!

I had a pretty long day at school before that, but that doesn't mean I can't doll up for the event, no?

I decided to go for something not to heavy on the eyes, since I'd have to have the make up on from 7am all the way till the end of the premiere. Also, I wanted to try this new lipstick sample from YSL that I recieved! Just to throw it out there, I quite like it and I may just get myself the full sized one one day!

Mandatory ootd with my man!

Just a little spoiler for those of you out there who wanna know about the movie, it definitely digs into Singapore's kampong days, which I thought was really nice. I had some good laughs and I've felt strong emotions (annoyance, empathy, you name it) for the various characters.

I felt it was a pretty nice movie, and I was just really happy about the fact that there was very little english in this film and to see the main actress speak in both dialect and Malay, I thought that was really awesome of her. I loved the diversity that the movie portrayed. It could be a bad thing for some people, but I honestly did enjoy it, also because there were so many familiar faces on screen.

Basically, I can't wait for part 2!

With that, I've come to the end of my post, do get your tickets to catch Long Long Time Ago in a cinema near you! Till my next blogpost!

xx
Shayne
