Tobi Haul

Hello everyone!

So I know this is another post that's wayy overdue, but I finally found a little pocket of time to get this post up. I went a little crazy on Tobi.com and honestly I don't regret anything. Their sales are great and their products have pretty good quality. I'm just really happy with everything that I got from Tobi so I guess a haul post would be great!

This was my very first purchase with Tobi so I had the 50% off promo code to play around with, so clearly I managed to buy a whole lot more things than I would be able to without the code. But no worries guys, they have regular sales and they add new products everyday so everyone's covered.

I got all my clothes a size too big - I opted for all of them to com in M instead of S, some fit me alright but the dresses and some of the skirts needed some major altering or it would just fall off my body. So just a tip: make sure you're very well versed with your own measurements because I was pretty much worried all the clothes wouldn't fit. Tobi doesn't accept returns from Singapore too so it was even more important that I didn't get something too small.

And now we begin with the haul!

I love this top very much! Apart from the label scratching me at the back (I had to take it off because it was pretty annoying/itchy/painful), the material is really soft, the daisies aren't scratchy at all and I pretty much don't mind this top being a little oversized because it isn't a very long top and it's perfect for casual days with a nice pair of jeans!

I think it was this item that sparked the entire haul. I've been looking for a cardigan like this for AGES and when I saw it on the site I had to get it. This is another piece that I didn't mind being oversized, in fact, I kind of wished I got it in an L so it would be even more slouchy, but the M is perfectly fine.

This cardigan has pretty thin and soft material, so it's probably not the best at keeping you warm, then again, Singapore is constantly hot so it's pretty much perfect!

Monique Dress in Grey

This is definitely my new favourite dress. I constantly want to wear it because it's so soft and it's quite an effortless piece. I may consider getting it in the black soon! I guess this one wasn't too bad in the size M because it just adds to the comfy-ness. The only thing I was concerned about was that the material is kinda sheer (and I didn't realise it) so just remember to wear some safety shorts underneath!

This had to be altered, because it just didn't fit my waist nicely, it's been altered now so it sits on my waist really nicely and I can't wait to wear it out on a date with W! I love how this dress came with perfect inner-lining so we won't be flashing anyone! I do love the other colours too but I thought I shouldn't get another black dress and go with the cream!

This one had some major altering done. I had to tighten the waist and add some snap buttons near the middle button because it just kept slipping out. I wore this to a play with W the other day and the middle button just wouldn't behave, which sucked because I had to keep checking it throughout the play.

I would say this is one of those dresses that would also make a good cover-up on the beach because it does look nice with a bikini poking out and it's a little on the shorter side. This one came with a little lining to but I wouldn't recommend wearing bright undies unless you wanna show them. I'm glad I got this in a colour that I've never worn because it does sit well on my skin! I was debating between the lavender one but the mint one caught my eye initially so I stuck with it.

Got myself a few skirts too~

I didn't plan to buy any skirts at first, because I didn't really have any skirts in mind or anything, but I wanted to make full use of my discount coupon (and get free shipping) so I grabbed a few! Really, no regrets!

This was the only skirt that fit me alright in an M, This is pretty stretchy which is great, I would have preferred a size S because it's still a little loose around the waist until I tuck a thicker shirt into it. Then again, the material is pretty nice and soft so I do like wearing this!

Divine Love Skirt in Black

I didn't really like the denim button down skirt trend, partially because I don't think I could pull off a denim skirt, so when I saw this skater I was pretty happy and I had to get it. The only 'issue' I had with this skirt was that the top two buttons do make you look a little 'bumpy'. I wore this to school the other day and it will fly up in the wind so be careful about that!

Also, this piece was too big so I had to alter the waist band to make it smaller!

This one probably one of those pieces that I was really worried about because I've never owned anything like it. But I'm really happy with how it looks! It is quite short so maybe it's good that I got it in a size M? I did have to tighten the waistband because it was a little too lose for my liking.

This elastic at the waistband isn't exactly the most awesome, to be honest. It doesn't stretch much and it doesn't really return to it's original shape/length immediately, so it does feel like you ruined the waist band when you first pull the skirt over your bum.

Then again, I'm honestly pretty happy that I go this! I'm not sure how I'd like to style it just yet but hopefully I will be able to wear this soon!

That's all I got from Tobi! I hope you guys enjoyed this blogpost and get inspired to get a few pieces from their site because it's my current favourite. They have really lovely dresses too and the quality, honestly, is great! I should also add that the customer service was awesome too! Got my items pretty quickly, I think it was less than 2 weeks? That's fast, in my opinion!

Anyway, I hope you guys have had a good weekend and have a great week ahead! To everyone who's drowning in work/school, all the very best. I'm struggling loads with my schedules too but pushing through will be worth it! Till my next blogpost!
