Different Types of Wedding Bouquets | Sponsored

Hello everyone!

It seems to be wedding season amongst my friends, and I enjoy thinking about my future wedding (not like it's happening anytime soon, but a girl can dream!) Today's blogpost is a collaboration with Little Flower Hut, and we'll be showing you guys about some of the different types of wedding bouquets! Flowers will always be a part of memorable occasions that people celebrate from time to time, but for this blogpost, we'll be focusing on weddings!

All photos in the blogpost are from their website (unless stated otherwise) which you can check out if you're looking for a florist in Singapore! They do flowers for various occassions, same day deliveries (for orders before 4pm) and 24hr customer service!

Some of my personal faves from their website before we move on with the post!

There are different ways of how a florist can arrange different types of flowers. This is the reason why you'd have plenty of wedding bouquets to choose from and of course, once we're spoilt for choice, the decision is very hard to make!

There are a few things to think about when you're looking at your wedding bouquets; the overall appearance of the bouquet, whether the flower of your choice is in season and of course, your budget. There are a few types of common bouquets:

  • Hand-tied bouquet – It is known to be the simplest type of bouquet wherein a bunch of flowers is tied together with a ribbon.

  • Nosegay bouquet – This type of arrangement consists of a group of flowers in small sizes that are tightly wrapped using a lace or a ribbon.

  • Biedermeier bouquet – It looks the same as the nosegay bouquet when it comes to the structure however, Biedermeier is composed of flowers that are arranged in circles. It is also a good idea if you will go for contrasting colors.

  • Pomander bouquet – This wedding bouquet has a romantic and youthful look perfect for the bride. A loop of ribbon is used to wrap a ball of flowers.

  • Composite bouquet – In making this bouquet, you have to use lots of petals and combine them together to form a single and big flower. However, this can be more expensive compared to other bouquets but can provide elegance to the bride.

  • Presentation bouquet – This is a great alternative to the traditional shape of bridal bouquets. It uses long-stemmed flowers which are carried by the bride in her arms.

  • Cascade bouquet – This is a stylish and traditional arrangement wherein the flowers appear like flowing over the hands of the bride going down to her feet. You can either choose between the long version and the smaller version of the hand bouquet.

  • Basket bouquet – This is perfect for an outdoor wedding wherein a variety of flowers are arranged in a basket.

A few more beautiful photos from their site to end the post!

I hope you guys found this short blogpost helpful! A huge thank you to Little Flower Hut for sponsoring this blogpost! If you'd like some flowers for your special occassion, be sure to check their website out and check out their options! Till my next blogpost!
